Blazer Jobs is partnering with a supportive district in Keller, Texas, to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a temporary maternity leave assignment during the 20252026 school year. This role offers a collaborative work environment and a rewarding opportunity to continue essential services while the current provider is on leave.
About the Role
The SLP will provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and support IEP implementation for students in a school-based setting. The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 weeks, with a smooth transition process and support from the districts special education team.
Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services

Develop and implement IEP goals based on student needs

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain detailed session documentation and progress notes

Ensure compliance with district and state special education standards
Qualifications

Active Texas SLP License
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required

Prior school-based experience required
